You asked for it, we listened!

We present you with our new PayPal iOS SDK, a native mobile payments solution that integrates simply and seamlessly into your iOS apps.

With this new SDK, we have re-imagined and re-designed payments for the mobile world. Quick to integrate and easy to use, the SDK is a one-stop shop for accepting both PayPal wallet and credit card payments, and lets developers avoid PCI compliance. It also includes some new capabilities, such as built-in card.io integration, allowing users to quickly scan credit cards rather than entering numbers manually.

The PayPal iOS SDK is just one example of how we are removing friction from payments, resulting in happier customers and better conversions for developers.

Availability:

The new PayPal SDK is available for iOS. An Android version is coming soon. It currently only accepts live payments in United States, although any developer can download it and kick the tires. It supports iOS 5+ on all varieties of iPhone and iPad screen sizes and resolutions.

Download & Docs:

Clone or download the PayPal iOS SDK from github.com/paypal/PayPal-iOS-SDK. Check out the docs, build the included sample app, and start accepting both PayPal and credit cards in minutes.

Let us know how you like it by filing issues and pull requests, and ask questions on StackOverflow. We value your feedback, and we’re here to help.

Hi guys! Thanks for the hard work rolling this out! Very easy to use SDK! Have some questions about how the API could be used for peer transfers or using a merchant account as the ClientID, but then having the sender and recipients be personal accounts. Is there an email where I might be able to explain in more detail?
